Good for you! I had no confidence in our ability to stop them. Glad you were right! Not me I was super confident our defense would hold them to 3 in OT

The more shocking thing was UNLV taking a knee with 3 timeouts. Crazy decision!
Guilty as charged. But then my son reeled me back in.In regulation, SU scored, 37-38. A part of me wanted the the two=point conversion and the in in regulation. My head knows HCFB made the right call, UNLV was gassed and we would score. But my heart recalled the WVU win to seal the deal on 11-0 and my heart wanted the two points.
I feel they got the call wrong. They called roughing the passing without targeting. I thought it was targeting without roughing the passer. Either way, it all came out in the wash in the end.I did. I wasn’t 100%, tho.
And remember if they didn’t bail us out with a 15 yard roughing our STs would have been lining up for a non chip-shot FG to extend the game.
I was talking to other people in my row saying exactly that lol. And I wouldn’t have held it against Fran if we went for it and didn’t get it.In regulation, SU scored, 37-38. they showed a replay and Spoon definitely chop blocked, that was a good call.I think everyone needs to be honest. If that was called on us, this board would be on fire.
That said I didn’t see the chop block 2 plays before
they showed a replay and Spoon definitely chop blocked?
The chop block call seemed bogus, so that evened out. The guy fell into our guy after he was cut blocked.I did. I wasn’t 100%, tho.

That…. Is a good head coach. No matter how ugly that game was. Ya gotta give it to him, we NEVER win those ugly games.Fran said in presser Nixon wanted to go for it, Fran said he had no heart. Said he trusted the training and conditioning of the team. He said they play 5 quarters in scrimmages so they are used to overtime.
I also think the red zone defense is obviously the best D they have. So makes sense
I agree. The UNLV defense was on the field all night. They were gassed. That makes going into overtime the best call.In regulation, SU scored, 37-38. A part of me wanted the the two=point conversion and the in in regulation. My head knows HCFB made the right call, UNLV was gassed and we would score. I was yelling to go for it. Of the three phases of the game, two stunk. Going to overtime exposed us to both of those. Going for two insulated us from both of those. Math-wise, that felt sounder. In regulation, SU scored, 37-38. A part of me wanted the the two=point conversion and the in in regulation. My head knows HCFB made the right call, UNLV was gassed and we would score. But my heart recalled the WVU win to seal the deal on 11-0 and my heart wanted the two points.
Eh, we don’t work for decades grounding ourselves in these things…or have a sheet that lays out the math in every scenario. This should be a no brainer for the coach either way.You guys are struggling to decide while in the comfort chair. Imagine how difficult it is for a coach to decide in real time lol
Joke of a coach has now beaten two ranked opponents.Had we gone for two, UNLV would've had to try to get into field goal range. If you knew that ahead of time, I would think the probabilities would struggle favor not going for two. Funny how it works out
Watch the dude on the sideline usually very close to Fran in tight situations. He’s carrying an analytics binder.Eh, we don’t work for decades grounding ourselves in these things…or have a sheet that lays out the math in every scenario. This should be a no brainer for the coach either way.
