It isn’t. Kids want to play and know what Fran is capable of with the right players.I hope yesterday doesn’t affect that. A lot of noise going into Thanksgiving now.

Serious Q.
This coaching staff clearly has ZERO faith in his ability to either comprehend, or run, basic pass plays. He is a QB who can't run ANY pass plays, this deep into the season. He is trusted less than a freshman walk-on.
Why are panicking about burning a red shirt year for a QB who in game 11 of a season is not capable of running basic passing plays.
At this point I am 100% convinced that after Angeli next year our next QB will be someone not currently on this roster. The red shirt means nothing imo.
His arm was in a sling yesterday. Which still may have been better than FilardiNow that we have solved the Carney mystery, anyone have an idea on why Jakari Williams has the same amount of playing time as I do for this program?
Because we all were mad at Ryan Day for sending in McCord in meaningless minutes to burn his redshirt. If we do the same to Carney, doesn’t that make us hypocrites?Serious Q.

That goes against Fran being a players coach. That was the mindset Ryan day had when he sent McCord in for his 5th game and we/kyle got screwed for it years laterWhy bother redshirting anyone anymore when they might just leave for the next bigger payday with another team anyway?
Carney throws a couple ducks that aren't intercepted - welp, guess we've seen enough. And the other two passes earlier in the year were ducks thrown into coverage that could have both been a pick 6. Him being pulled on 3rd and 9 tells you everything we need to know about carney.
Because we don’t have a top 50 HSQB commit.Serious Q.

I don’t get it but carney wasn’t changing any of the outcomesCarney throws a couple ducks that aren't intercepted - welp, guess we've seen enough.
Collins and Filardi throw multiple pick 6es - welp, better give them more passing attempts, not really sure what we've got here.
Nothing makes sense.
Carney had offers from Arizona, Arkansas, BYU, Cal, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Memphis, Minnesota and San Diego State. Not a bad offer list."legit D1/P5 interest and offers"
Yes, from low to mid level D1 programs.
He was rated the 117th best QB in the class.
I think Carney cares. Maximize then college NIL years as long as possible.Serious Q.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the extra college year for NIL, and compensation.I think Carney cares. Maximize then college NIL years as long as possible.

and one play -- a 9? yard TD run -- against Colgate.Carney will go down in Syracuse history as being 5 for 7 for his career and no INTs. But let’s have him handoff.
We'll never know that.I don’t get it but carney wasn’t changing any of the outcomes
I think four of those teams have been in the Top 25 over the last year and one of them (Cal) lost a QB who could be top three in the Heisman voting.Yes, all low to mid level D1 programs, just like I said.
BYU might make the playoffs.I think four of those teams have been in the Top 25 over the last year and one of them (Cal) lost a QB who could be top three in the Heisman voting.
Yes, I dispute that.OttoinGrotto - are you disputing that the programs listed are NOT low to mid-level D1 programs?
