We play Georgetown at noon on Saturdays in DC for forever.
It was a weeknight game (in DC) at times when it was a conference game.
The rent for Georgetown is lower at this time of day, really isn't complicated.

Last time it was an NBA game and our game started at noon. Maybe hockey takes an extra 30 minutes to set up.There's a hockey game that night.

From board scuttlebutt, the start time was not the reason you were outside Clyde's at 0730.I feel like the last two Gtown games I went to were 11am or 12pm tips. I remember standing outside of Clydes at 7:30am both times.
