Wagner talk? would hate to overlook any opponent for the next several years!!! From where this program was to where we want it to be is a LONG WAY AWAY! I know it's Wagner but let's give them some credit this week. After all it's who we play next not next week.
Rant over.

Who is there best player? Is there anyone that was recruited by or transferred to this college?

Wagner is hoping to score 10 and keep Syracuse under 60.

There's not much to discuss this week except where the ball's going to be spread around to for the Orange.

In all seriousness, they lost some talent last year. They've got a QB in Hall that can throw it all over the yard and run a bit too. They'll probably score a couple of tuddies. Good opportunity to sharpen up in as many areas as possible.

Remember the Central Conn State game last year? A game we won 50-7? Wagner lost to them in OT last year at home. That is all you need to know.

Their running back ran for 270 yards.

Against a Division II school. Context matters. They handled their opponent much like Syracuse should handle them. I would like to see a sizeable lead by halftime so that the young guys can get some reps in. This is as close to a preseason game that Syracuse will get. Have to take advantage of it and put Wagner out of their misery early. Give them their game check and send them their way.

Agreed. Expect a vanilla gameplan and LOTS of substitutions.

Both are good things, leading up to a home game against a much tougher opponent in week 3.

Yep. Keep it simple. Don’t get any of the starters hurt and we are into week 3 with a winnable game on deck

I would be shocked if we went up 21-0 and Dungey comes out.. We need to get the WR figured out and we need to work on running game thats not QB centric.. If it was me we dont run that QB read play with him at all just to keep him 100% for FSU. if thats the only way to win then we have bigger issues

Chance Amie will play. So will Rex. So will Clayton.

I get it wagner played bowie st, was outdone in first downs 21-15. Wagner gashed them for 280 on the ground, but gave up over 370 through the air. Bowie st. Outgained them in yardage overall.

Of course we have to take care of biz and hit up front but geeez, sounds liks BS couldn't cover a telephone pole. Should be an opportunity to find some recievers for FSU.

They had a quarterback who was super under-recruited and took a grad transfer to Marshall. We'd be a bit more concerns if he was still around. Not much, but a bit.

Stay healthy and score at least one more point than them... I walk out of the dome happy at 2-0

When is the last time we hung 70 on a team? (Answer: Sept 8, 2018)
