We didn't win a game in the ACC tourney until our 5th year in the conference. We opted out of the postseason in 2015 prior to the sanctions. Not exactly sterling results. Our wins are vs. Wake, Pitt and NC (last year and last game before season canceled)

There is an argument going on saying why should a team that is already eligible for the NCAA compete in a conference tournament.

The thought being that if you play in the conference tournament and have a Covid outbreak you'd be ineligible for the NCAA.

I lean against having it for that reason. Add onto that the extreme limitation on the number of spectators and the "pluses" pretty much disappear. But, then again, I've always hated the tournament since forever (even though we benefitted from having it in 1976).

bring teams in early. give them 3-4 days to stay away from everyone else and get tested daily.. 2 months from now who knows.

My first Greensboro trip was thanksgiving week when I played juco hoops. Hotel was down the road from Centerfolds Gentlemen's Club and a gas station that handed out free entry and drink tickets with every four loko we bought.

Riding a buzz from turkey day dinner at Golden Corral to the jello wrestling show at ole Centerfolds was truly a special experience. Greensboro: not too terrible.
