Will tonights game

be a bigger mismatch than last years title game? No one seems to want to believe it could be the case with a mighty SEC team being the under dog but I'm expecting a beatdown by FSU. Auburn's defense is suspect and if they can't run on FSU they're in for a looooooong night.

Anyone else expecting FSU to win big?

Exactly. I was thinking 52-28 FSU but then I started wondering is Auburn can even muster 28 points of the FSU defense?

That's part of it. Alabama got exposed, Georgia was what they were, and Clemson should've won by a lot more than they did vs OSU. So seeing what Auburn did v Bama and UGA and what FSU did to Clemson really has me expecting a big margin when FSU meets Auburn.

Me too, but that SEC always seems to save face. SEC going 0-2 in the final BCS and ending their national title run, would be a hard pill for them to swallow. So I expect Auburn (Malzahn really) to make it interesting.

I think FSU might be one of the best CFB teams i've ever seen talent-wise, so I would actually be suprised if they don't win easily.

FSU's defense is really good and luckily Auburn runs alot because the secondary of FSU is filthy. If Auburn ever has to start throwing, watch out.

FSU's offense is just disgusting, we all know about the tight end, qb and wr's but its that freshmen rb that is an absolute monster which is saying alot since the other FSU backs are beasts as well.

BCS games have been all money line underdog this year... Obviously, anything can happen and if the game was on a typical Saturday in say November I would not touch with a 10 foot pole. I think Auburn keeps close and can Winston come through in the clutch will be what wins or loses the game.

I really like both coaches but Malzahn is just a great story. Gun to my head as I think it will be best return on investment. Auburn- money line.

I wonder if it will be like FSU's other title game, in 1999. FSU was heavily favored, jumped out early. But VT and Vick came storming back, even took a 1 point lead into the 4th quarter. Then FSU pulled away.

Florida State has the DL to keep Auburn in check somewhat. Nick Saban talked about how Bama dominated Auburn and was in control, but made inside the red zone 3 times in the 2nd half with the lead and got 0 points. Florida State offense > Alabama offense I don't see the horseshoe up Auburn's butt pulling 1 more game out. Florida State 42 Auburn 24.

If Auburn doesn't get the opening kickoff, the game will be over halfway through the 2nd quarter. Texas A&M was exposed, and so was Alabama, and if Alabama played Auburn 10 times they probably win 8. Too many of the pundits are picking the team of destiny, and Florida St is going to play with a chip on their shoulder, and that's going to be Auburn's, and the SEC"s worst nightmare.

i really don't think the sec is nearly as insecure with their place on the college football food chain as everyone seems to think. at some point, somebody else will win a national title and life's gonna go on in tuscaloosa, auburn, athens, gainseville, baton rouge, etc.

Based on my bowl predictions thus far, I predict a blow out by Florida State. With that said, it will probably be a close game with Florida State pulling out the victory on the last drive. In other words, my predictions are worth zilch.

I've picked so many bowl games wrong this year, that I have no idea what's going to happen in this game. I do think however, that if Auburn were to upset FSU, that would be a tough pill for the ACC. But if FSU crushes Auburn, the national media will still try to make it reflect poorly on the ACC. The theme will be, FSU is so completely dominant that the ACC is a one horse show. I know Clemson won, but people have short memories. There is no way the media will allow their perceptions of the SEC to be challenged.
