Win or lose Saturday, I am ready for the season to be over

The entertainment value for this team on a scale of 1-10 is a .025 at best. People wonder why nobody goes to the games. On to next season, hoping for some offense. I cant believe people are still posting about how bad the offense is week to week as if something is going to change with more injuries and 4-5 days of practice.

Have to recruit, the fake FG call was a great call, poorly executed but a great call. Syracuse should have won but didn't.

I would like to beat BC but 15 more practices for anyone but the two frosh qb's doesn't mean anything to me. Bowl game would be nice but not really a neccessity

Hey, more power to you. I would prefer not to at this point. It's quite disgusting. I like Shafer as HC and his influence on the D, we just need to score more pints, plain and simple. 1 year out of 13 doesn't work for me. Either start cheating and getting athletes or hang it up. I would prefer to not read spin from posters how some 2 star athlete is actually the next coming of Randy Moss.. Sorry. Been doing it for 15 years now.

The offense stinks I get it, but thats really the reason why you're tired of this team? If that's the case, I would steer clear of the basketball season as well because I hear that offense has been struggling as well.

I go each week because at least this team puts up a fight and still has a chance at the postseason. That's more than I can say for schools like Tennessee, Northwestern, Illinois etc. But the sad part is despite the struggles of those teams, there fans still pack the stadiums to support them each week. Maybe the attitude of some of our fanbase is the real problem, not just the offense.

Northwestern and Illinois Fans still pack their stadium? I think you need to look again. I still have seasons, couldn't give the Pitt tickets away, BC I sold. It's not the people on this forum that are the problem

Non SEC Or Big 10 schools? Surely you aren't comparing a private school in the Northeast to old State U? In addition, I think you would still be surprised Tennessee attendance was terrible last year for them

We've suffered through more than a decade of football that struggles greatly to entertain. It's not just this season.

I support SU and I support the kids that play. I cheer during the good and bad. I love SU football, much more than basketball. My dream as a kid was to play for SU, I was never good enough or big enough. I will continue to support this program, but I want them to do it the right way. This season has been frustrating, but you go to support the kids. They play their ing asses off and deserve better support from the fans.

I am never really eager for the season to end. The one exception was GRob's 0-fer debacle. I want this season to extend to a bowl game. One thing I've learned is that just when you think you have things figured out about a team, they surprise you. I wouldn't be shocked if SU beats BC, and gets to a bowl, and then lays 30 points on some decent team. You just never really know.

I wouldn't brag on BC. They can hold about 45k and are averaging 33k this year. That's 73% capacity. We are averaging 38k which is 76%. Did you know they only sold 40k for FSU? We sold 39k for Wake. Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

Yup. I've lived through a lot of disappointing SU football seasons but his season has caused me to score more pints than usual.

We get a C effort on a yearly basis from the SU marketing department. We also have a fanbase that grows "tired" of watching a mediocre football team. I guess when it comes to support, we're fighting a losing battle.
