Down three on the road with 1:30 to go. Having had a 2nd half lead. A 9-0 run in the 2nd half. Yeah, it was an exciting game.

Be as mad as you want. Be as frustrated as you want. Be mad at JB because he doesn’t get in the road like he used to. Complain all you want. I don’t care. I’m all those things as well.

But at least be honest. Anything less makes it worse.

I guess is that what it has come to? We weren't playing a top 10 team. Notre Dame is nothing special.

It came to that several seasons ago. Did you miss it? It’s not like our mediocrity started with the arrival this group of players.

Doesn’t change the fact that it was a good game.

Notre Dame is doing exactly what I expected Syracuse to do this year -- beat mediocre teams, and capitalize on the conference being down overall, outside of Duke.

This is my opinion only, but if we placed last year's team in this year's ACC, I think they'd be in the top 3. That doesn't mean that they would be "great," just that they would be better than the majority of the field.

In the most down year in the ACC since we've joined the conference, we're on the cusp of a losing record -- that's what I find discouraging.
