I think a lot of teams are going to regret passing on Franklin and Mitchell, and I think that Ray McCallum is going to be a quality second round pick and would not be the least bit surprised if he winds up being as good or better than Shane Larkin.

So they are talking about the '84 draft, can we just acknowledge how freaking good that draft wound up being? Four of the top 25-30 players ever came out of the top 15 in that draft (Olajuwon, Jordan, Barkley, Stockton).
Granted, the rest of that draft was pretty meh, but holy hell that's a top heavy draft in terms of transcendent talent.

That's what drives me nuts about the second round. Really, some kid who is going to be playing in Spain for 3 or 4 more years is going to help you more than Jamaal Franklin, who plays that same position? Come on, man.
