I think the cake was like the shirt he was wearing. Had all the finalist schools on it. When he first walked in I saw the Syracuse logo on his shirt and got up in excitement, only to realize all the schools were on it. Then got to jump up again when he actually announced. What a night.

In the recent thread on whether Cuse should extend Fran now, I was opposed to doing so. I thought we needed to see one more year without McCord. My mind changed on that this evening. If Fran can develop the trust needed with kids who could go to any school they want and get them to buy into what he's building, I say extend that man tomorrow morning.

No. Angeli has two years if he needs them. Plus Rickie has potential and so does Carney. I personally dont think you need two with the depth chart the way it is and the portal. Can always supplement.
