Russell is the perfect guy for us. He is an elite talent with exceptional potential to improve. He’s got the mentality that he wants to help us change the world. We always wondered who would be the guy to be different and not go to a factory and come to Cuse with the plan of paving his own path and bring us back.

In the recent thread on whether Cuse should extend Fran now, I was opposed to doing so. I thought we needed to see one more year without McCord. My mind changed on that this evening. If Fran can develop the trust needed with kids who could go to any school they want and get them to buy into what he's building, I say extend that man tomorrow morning.

We're walking in a different neighborhood w/ Fran Brown. What he's already accomplished in less than 2 years is phenomenal. He's raised all our expectations for the program, and suddenly a NC is not just a pipedream anymore. Today, he made a believer out of me. Extend him.
