He's taking a ton of official visits, none of which are to Syracuse. He's not committing here, alteast on July 5th. There's no way he makes OVs to Michigan and LSU with no OV to Cuse and picks us.

That was my initial thought as well. But he has been to SU many times already. By all accounts SU is a serious option so why know visit?. He may be very comfortable with what he knows about SU already and is wanting to take his OV in the fall. I think it’s possible he does commit without a visit.

Looking back at this 30 min later. That was a little harsh. In reality, it’s healthy to share about how you feel about a situation. There many that have had these same thoughts or worries going on in their head, but won’t share and provide another perspective on a situation because they are worried it might come off negative.

Richmond seems pretty connected into the program. Probably was given some feedback that is positive. Note that doesn't mean it's not subject to change but if he feels positive that is a good thing at this stage. Two things in addition one poster at the golf event indicated Russell's mom called Fran at the event. She has his personal cell phone number and calls him. That's a positive. Second he *Russell) has been here I believe like three times. He is good. Perhaps he is committed to Syracuse and is taking officials to just be sure.

There many that have had these same thoughts or worries going on in their head, but won’t share and provide another perspective on a situation because they are worried it might come off negative.

I'm generally a happy person in my day to day, despite the way the world is currently trending.

I don't think posting information about recruits leaning one way or another on a message board is negative in any way. I'd rather not lie about it so everything is sunshine and rainbows until the recruit commits elsewhere and people meltdown.

Again I hope Richmond is right here and I'm wrong but I'm not being a negative person by posting that "I don't feel good about this one".

If we are involved which insiders here have suggested, we are moving very much in the shadows with no official visits set up at this time. Analysts aren’t getting anything regarding Syracuse’s involvement, except from a few weeks ago that he wasn’t planning to visit before decision day.

This feels like a plan B option. Similar size as Russell and multi sport athlete with the basketball.

For sure, I don’t think it’s a one or the other situation as well. Just pointing out that the staff is very strategic in what they are looking for. We want an athletic tall wide receiver. Russell is the best prospect out there by far. But even if we don’t get him, we’re still trying to have other options that has a majority of those attributes.
