I was up in the Adirondacks with a guy that had Pappy and I tried to subtly encourage him to break it out so I could try a sip. Failed in my attempts.

A week later went to a friend's house to celebrate a wedding reception, and the friend's dad asked me if I appreciate good whiskey, to which I of course said yes. He pulled me aside and pulled out an entire case of Pappy with tiny vials of special edition ones. Felt like I died and went to heaven.

Smart question on your friend’s Dad’s part. You don’t break that out except for special occasions and friends that would appreciate it. That said, never having had it I wouldn’t really know lol

EH Taylor’s a great bourbon. Often feel as though Buffalo Trace is over touted, but that stuff’s all the hype and more.
