Slightly OT. But, with the commitments of Russell and Gough, is it possible/likely that some of our earlier WR commits look elsewhere?

I know that they can be shifted to other positions, but if they really want to play WR, they might find the grasses greener at another school. Especially since we have quite a few WR commits for 2026.

For all intents and purposes, they are. Or at least the largest schools. The more fans and alumni a school has, the more clicks they will get by telling them what they want to hear. And Michigan fans clearly would prefer to be told "You weren't out recruited, the kid didn't prefer Fran Brown and his staff... noooo it was something nefarious."

Never thought I’d see the day when SU football gets a commitment from a 5 star prospect. If feels like we’re in this weird timeline where the world is mostly terrible, but SU football is relevant. It’s a fair trade off.
