No matter how good the culture is there exists a number that would convince him to go there. Well truly anyone to go anywhere. For some the$ might need to be just $1 more or it might need to be a hundred million dollars more. But if Miami wanted to pay him whatever the $$ he needs to pick them over us they have the option.

Hopefully it’s such a high $$ value though that they never will and he just comes to Cuse and dominates for 3 years before walking into the league as a top 10 pick and we get to celebrate him forever.

Pitino was referring that about board favorite Kadary the other day. He was talking about paying him high six figures. He said that if Seton Hall wanted to keep him they needed to spend more money.

Oh don’t get me wrong an excellent culture / work environment absolutely matters. And it’s a great tiebreaker. But $$$ matters the most to the majority of people. Not everyone, but most. Here’s hoping our internal culture is so good that it’s worth it to lots of impressive kids to take a bit less money to play here.

This wouldn’t have anything to do with money. Kid doesn’t even need to chase an immediate bag. It’s more about what he gets in year two from us than anything with a freshman deal. Fran doesn’t work like that. Everything has to be earned. This would be a seismic win if we pull it off.

Correct. He would at least try to play both to start. But he’s a much higher rated football recruit.

If he can walk and chew gum at the same time, he’s already better than the majority of our current hoops team.

At least let Fran have first crack at him, so he doesn’t get broken by playing for Red.

I would guess if/when he gets to Syracuse his main focus would be football since that's a more year-round commitment with Spring ball, winter workouts and summer workouts but he's got the talent to play both sports at a very high level for sure. He's putting up huge numbers on the court right now.

Pretty good chance we land one of the two. Both are very very good QBs. Would be a pretty good couple adds to what we already have. I have feeling we are going to finish out this class right around 25 or on the cusp. Very good early returns and we are in pretty good shape with some pretty good players. Wow, I've been kinda checked out on Syracuse sports since football season is over and basketball season hasn't started yet for some reason. This would be amazing news if it comes to fruition.
