Wonder how much of a player Oregon becomes here with Ross Douglas moving out there. Seems he may visit out there. With Douglas recruiting and also offering Messiah Hampton you would think a similar thing would happen with Russell as well. I would guess that all of the non committed players he was recruiting are on the table for him. But in looking through this thread it does seem that Russell mentions mostly Fran so that is very good for us. I'm sure Fran tries to have a personal relationship with most of the recruits but wonder if he was more of the lead recruiter in this as a calculated decision knowing Ross Douglas may depart.

Hopefully Myles White gets in contact with Russell and the other WR prospects pronto. From the Myles White thread and the latest video posted on there that was an interview by an ex Miam of Ohio WR he coached, it seems like he is just a great guy and would be a good dude to be coached by. Gonna be hard to close on this kid with the competition we will have. We need to get Russell in on a spring/summer official visit. If that happens there's always a decent chance.

He's a 4 star CB that has reclassified to the 2025 class and is visiting us on March 21st. But he also has visits scheduled to Miami, Georgia and Florida. So a few other commons schools.

Yeah i wasn't sure how to read that either. But what your interpretation is regarding timing makes sense.

Think Fran agrees with you. To the point above, Fran is the main recruiter here. We win or lose this one because of Fran, not the WR coach. Would be a huge huge win.

Well I mean, an opinion only matters if you’re close to the recruitment. I can say we’ll land all 3 or whiff on all 3 and it means nothing because I’m not close to the recruitment. And just because someone is on a recruiting website (I.e On3) and throwing around projections doesn’t mean they’re informed either.
