I had high expectations for him. Thought he might lead the team in receptions this year.

He has talent and I hope he finds a place where he can flourish. Sorry it didn't work out for him at Syracuse.

Yup. This.

Always thought he’d be our next really good slot guy, like Erv, Briz, Sean Riley.

And he definitely had his moments.
Some nice punt returns too.

But he was waaaay too inconsistent this year, and thus didn’t play nearly as much, so it’s not a surprise at all to see him looking for a change of scenery.

In any even, all the best to Jackson. harsh reality is sometimes when staff changes occur certain guys don't match up as well. Jackson definitely got the squeeze. I think he can be really productive elsewhere.

Courtney never seemed to fit in this Anae offense, so no surprise. He had opportunities though & is still a good receiver. Best of luck to him.

A lot of people picked him to be the leader in receptions for the Cali Awards.
He's been a solid contributor and receiver at SU so it sucks to see him move on like Queeley. It seems that he wasn't part of Anae's plans and got passed over.

There are 15 WRs on the roster right now.
Subtract Queeley and Jackson and Dom Foster to the transfer portal.
Cooper and probably CJ Hayes are out of eligibility.

SU is adding one WR next year - Bryce Cohoon .

I guess we'll see if they add more and if any more transfer out.

Jackson was a good slot last year who was miscast as an edge receiver this year. Thought he particularly struggled as a blocker. With Cooper moving on, thought he could split some slot snaps w/ Pena next year. Guess Adams gets those snaps.
