I'm ok with this however it seems every year a WR leaves and people are like cool so and so will come in and get a chance to play and step in, however we always have WR problems and nobody steps up. They better have a plan and get some Wrs for a supposed offensive genius.

He had a really nice game against VA Tech and a nice punt return for a TD in the BC game last year. I wish him well.

That said, I was really pleased to see more Adams than CJ in the last few games (again, not sure if the situations were related or that Adams PT came at the expense of CJ).

CJ just seemed like a very 'stiff' receiver with limited body control - he could (at times) catch the ball when sitting down in a zone or the occasional crossing route...but never scared anyone deep and never instilled you with confidence he would snatch a contested (50/50) ball.

He got his undergrad from here I believe, that’s a pretty strong lifelong connection.

Hey kids gotta do what he thinks best for him and can never fault a kid for that. It does seem weird to me, he wouldn’t wait until after the bowl though so he could at least participate in that and get the rewards from the season that he worked hard for and enjoy the experience but to each their own. I think they kind of have to do it now. Lots of competition in the portal. Hard to wait for a bowl.

He is graduating, so he will have a Syracuse University degree.

I was watching some bowl last year, I can't remember which or what team, but the QB on one of the teams was in the portal and played. I guess he was considering staying or was auditioning for another team. Crazy.

Those messages make me think it wasn't their choice to move on but rather they were informed they are not in the team plans post graduation.

Is it wrong that I feel… sort of, relieved by this? I have no ill will towards CJ but I feel like the WR room is so crowded and he has done just enough to warrant snaps, taking away from other guys who I’m more interested to see. Idk if that makes sense?
