I hear you and agree - the obvious risk is something happening that does cross the line and battling the I told you so criticisms that would come after.

It's a fine line that Fran (and the school) has to walk and own.

Should be forgone conclusion that no one on this board had a clue how much NIL we really have nor how much anyone is getting.
 
I sincerely cannot believe what Fran has turned us into in less than 2 years. We still need to see how this year goes but as someone that most of my adult life has been Robinson, Marrone, Shafer and Babers... this is incredible. I've truly never seen the program behave the way it does now. So excited for the future and thankful for Francis Brown from THE Camden, NJ.

Not that it is the end-all be-all, but we've added five players in the last couple of days via the he transfer portal.

Three of them were five star recruits coming out of high school, the other two were four stars.

I beg to differ.

We have “enough”.
Clearly.

And the vast majority of players are getting “enough”,
or else they’d portal out.

I’m sure that however much is “enough”,
will continue to increase, hopefully sufficiently to make the total NIL we have, be enough to keep and get the players we want.

Yeah I was just posting the other day that I haven’t heard of a kid being academically ineligible in years. Like LOTS of years.

Especially with likely a little more questions about the TE group, i see the slot being used A LOT this year. This could be a very valuable season for Johntay and the other slot receivers.

Hopefully this is the last Syracuse HC i will see for a very long time. From what i know if we take care of him he will stay. JW had better make sure he realizes that Football is back and do everything in his power to support Fran and his staff. Any decision between basketball and football support needs to tilt heavily towards the football program if we are going to make the next cut.
