If Douglas leaves to go to OSU I’m 99.9% sure that Hampton would follow him there. I’m not an insider and don’t have sources or anything, just a gut feeling as that’s exactly what happened to us when Douglas left to go to Oregon.

Lot of people think with the departure of Will Stein, Douglas will get promoted as OC at U of O. He was pass game coordinator/ WR coach last year. He's a great young coach with a bright future.

Not saying he wouldn't be good as an OC but having him as a zero experience coordinator at a school like Oregon seems like more risk than a program like that would usually want to incur.
