So far the 2026 class has 7 Verbals. From what I've seen 2 were listed as 4stars (Sheffey and Cooper) unless rankings have changed which happen all the time. Also, Medley may end up a 4star at some point.idk man, I wanted 4 stars under Babers when we were all miserable. Frans stated goal is a “National Championship.” If you want to win one of those you have to recruit at an elite level.
I’ll be patient, I agree Fran can still pull in a bunch of 4stars in this class. As a program if we want to win 9+ games a year. You need the talent. Bottom line.
I’m not entitled lol. This team has stink my entire life. Is was crying real tears on the Grant scoop and score. I’m not interested in mediocrity
That ratio, if it holds, would be 7 four stars per class, which extrapolates to 28 on the roster. So far the 2026 class has 7 Verbals. It takes time to build that - and if you’re trying to build that it looks like thisNo I mean we will see if he can recruit here. Dude has landed major prospects everywhere he’s been. He has landed a few here, but not as many as his other stops.
Everyone always says “stars don’t matter” and I agree with that somewhat. But tell me, who are the teams always playing in BCS bowls and CFP games???
Is it the teams that bring in 20 3-stars and a few 4-stars? Or is it teams that bring in 20 4-stars and try to supplement with 3-star diamond in the rough type kids.
Would love to see a Pasqualoni class in 2025. The game has changed, this means nothing.People forget what Pasqualoni was able to recruit here back in the 90s.
I disagree, the town, school and facilities are the same, we just hired a bunch of the wrong guys.Would love to see a Pasqualoni class in 2025. The game has changed, this means nothing.
I guess he thought it was time for him to announce his commitment on X.I thought he committed two days ago?
Like a Phoenix, he rises...

I live here. I know.
My mom lives in Smyrna!
Hopefully not in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center!Expand...
That readout reminds me of Jackson Meeks a bit. Seems like he's similarly built as well. Hope his hands are good.
Oh, we know.My mom lives in Smyrna!
Yup. Said that last week or the week before. Lots of similarities. I agreeBased on Fran's recruiting where he stresses development, his portal maneuvering and his DART credo, I'm beginning to think we're going to become unicorn-ish. Kinda like the Boise St of the East.
No sir! She is a delightful, spry, graceful, 90 year old Syracuse fan! We talk about each game and even though she doesn’t really know the rules, she cares about the Cuse because I do. That’s a true Mom for ya. Didn’t know the story about the correctional center!Hopefully not in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center!
Named, unironically, after a former State Senator who believed in throwing everybody in jail w/o the benefit of due process. His son, unironically, became a Delaware Supreme Court Justice. We call it "The Delaware Way".
Smyrna was basically known for two things--the prison, and the speed trap by the BBQ place on Rt. 13. Since Route 1 to the beach was completed, the speed trap was no longer effective, and the town lost half its revenue. No sir! She is a delightful, spry, graceful, 90 year old Syracuse fan! Sad that the second thing was the speed trap by the BBQ place, and not the BBQ place itself.Smyrna was basically known for two things--the prison, and the speed trap by the BBQ place on Rt. 13.
