Somebody cut all the pass plays from that bad game into a “low light” reel. Needless to say, his offensive line couldn’t protect him. He got hit every play, sacked a ton, and as a result wasn’t very accurate. Who knows how he can do when his offensive line isn’t being dominated?

My bigger concern is the second video of workouts. In that video he missed open guys by yards without any pass rush at all.

McCord was a composite 5 star. #6 QB in country and 28th nationally. Nobody else was even close. None of the others were even in the top 250 if i recall. The absolute steal we got in McCord will never be replicated.

Yeah it looked like a lowlight reel. I wasn’t knocking the kid, it was just a strange “highlight” tape. 29 TDs and 6 INTs doesn’t scream accuracy problems to me. If Jeff Nixon in particular likes him, I am good. Would like for us to still grab Sidwar, I like him a lot, but don’t think that is happening

There’s a Lott to be Zaid about a player who’s lowlight reel still shows off a lot of key attributes and traits.

Looks like a decent athlete with good size, a cannon for an arm, and a pretty quick release. Great addition to the QB room with some solid P4 offers.
