Especially when this kid could catch passes for us. When do we say we pass on a kid? They pled guilty. Oklahoma, hardly a virtuous school, tossed him off.yep, again don't know enough either way but I don't just blindly trust chrages

You know it's ok to be a huge fan of Fran and have respect for him, but still occasionally question a decision. Most of us don't want to be in a cult.I wouldnt at all. Fran isnt going to take a kid that he doesnt think fits.
I get your point and understand the stance you've taken. And I wouldn't try changing your mind. But what enters my mind is the way the public often gets its information. We don't have to do mental gymnastics to make it seem like he's a good kid. He's clearly not, and it's okay to question Fran's judgment here if we brought him in.
A cult please explain. You know it's ok to be a huge fan of Fran and have respect for him, but still occasionally question a decision. Most of us don't want to be in a cult.
Should be pretty self-explanatory. To rubber stamp everything someone says or does without question.A cult please explain.
And SU is a virtuous school? Many schools could point to several infractions at SU.Especially when this kid could catch passes for us. When do we say we pass on a kid? They pled guilty. Oklahoma, hardly a virtuous school, tossed him off.
Wasn’t that Malcom Cater? And who can forget the University not allowing Colt Brennan to come? May he rest in peaceWho were the morons caught stealing at sky top years ago? The police followed the footsteps through the snow to catch the thieves.
I know what a cult is. How does that apply in this thread. Give me somebody's quote that's cultist.Should be pretty self-explanatory. To rubber stamp everything someone says or does without question.
What is your point? And what does that have to do with letting in guys that had a home invasion? And nowhere did I say we sit at the right hand of the father. Just that I wouldn't take guys that had pled guilty to those offenses. Oh, and you might want to look up the goings on at Oklahoma when Barry Switzer was the coachAnd SU is a virtuous school? Many schools could point to several infractions at SU.
I'd say he is the farthest thing from a cult that you will ever meet. I see a solid person who cares about others but sets high standards and expectations. I work with the homeless and see all kinds of individuals that deserve a second chance so I might have a soft spot for it. I do trust him to make a good decisionYou know it's ok to be a huge fan of Fran and have respect for him, but still occasionally question a decision. Most of us don't want to be in a cult.

No way!! He’s too good of a player!!Lol or he could have just committed the crime
Who were the morons caught stealing at sky top years ago? The police followed the footsteps through the snow to catch the thieves.
meh... if there was enough evidence why offer a plea? Given the choice of plea to avoid jail or go to trial and be at the mercy of a system that isn't so trustworthy for all or nothing? You take the guaranteeThey took plea deals and admitted to larceny. There was enough evidence against them for a judge to sign a warrant for a robbery charge.

Again, know enough to not know enough.Especially when this kid could catch passes for us. When do we say we pass on a kid? They pled guilty. Oklahoma, hardly a virtuous school, tossed him off.
Yeah, I have been accused of a couple things in my life. I was innocent and you know what, I said so. I would NEVER say I was guilty when I wasn't. Ever. And I don't want my school bringing kids that have pled guilty to crimes like that to my school. Good luck to them. There are plenty of kids out there. We don't need them. Plus, using your logic, we would never turn a kid down for any crime they have been accused of and pled guilty to.Again, know enough to not know enough.
Hell, Oklahoma probably needed the scholarship.
Again, lived experiences... I've pled to charges I was 100% innocent of to know the lessor outcome vs push all in in a system I don't trust. If you've not experienced that reality, I'm truly happy for you.
If Cook committs, room at the inn is probably closed. Were there any issues at Cent Ark last season ?
If not, kids can mature.
If he can help us on the field I would not worry about what he did at OU several seasons ago.
That incident I believe was an alleged robbery, not like a rape or a child molesting which would be unforgiveable to me.
You'd be cool with someone committing a home invasion at your house? Because they play football? Were there any issues at Cent Ark last season ?

Depends. If Eric Dungey broke into my house to steal my stuff, I’d help him.
