WVU punter just drilled a 58 yard punt. They had 5 guys on him almost immediately and in lanes. Returner retreated and lost a few more yards. Too bad we have to tell our punter to only kick it 40 yards because we don't know how to cover punts.

Why wouldn't Maryland call a timeout there? Coaches/players have some of the most interesting ideas ever. Why on earth wouldn't you call a timeout instantly after the catch (they had two left, and there was 7 seconds on the clock)? That way you have enough time for another play to get closer for a field goal, or perhaps take a shot at the endzone.

Only a second ran off of the clock, but I still have no idea why you would spike the ball. Interesting!

Haha, I just watched it about 7 times in a row and Hills running up to the line and giving the spike it hand signal is hilarious. He must have still been shaken up after that hit.
