WVU let's discuss

Last year they had a 1 seed locked up and that was my only concern tonight it was the same caliber of team.

It was clear early we didn't walk into a buzz saw. Their 5-8 guy who I was worried about wasn't that good nor could the 3 point specialist do anything else. Mitchell nullified Quincy but wasn't a force or anything.

It was a great performance by us. I don't think we did that to a great team. Not sure why I am getting attacked this isn't the game thread its discussing WVU who will be a step up in weight class.
Plus, their 3 point specialist had shooting mechanics that were... interesting.

McBride would probably be the best guard in the ACC...from what i have seen vs morehead

a real point gaurd who can do everything...3s, drives, assists, tight d...

its mcbride and culver from what I see...formidable duo.
These West Virginia guards are bulls. They're all built like NFL linebackers.

Syracuse is a totally different team in the past 4-5 games. So you can not look at our entire season to figure out how we match up. Look at the new Syracuse team. The one that plays team ball and not catch and shoot ball. There really is no comparison to how we played earlier this season. And I think this is part of why SDS had problems. The game film showed something different than we currently bring to the floor.

OMG. Now I am going to go to bed and have nightmares about that guy.

Don't have nightmares about him. I'm pretty sure he is a big sweetheart.

Last I read, he was a special education teacher around his hometown in the hills of West Virginia. He's got a lifetime pass for that in my book! I'll root for a dude like that for as long as he puts in the effort.

I had such a good time watching him (and what was it - Ganser???!) knock off CP3 in the tourney. Great game.

Mike Gansey. Great player under Beilein.

My recollection of Huggins' teams is physicality over finesse. Hope Braswell and Jesse give us good minutes again. We'll need them. I think we beat a good SDSU team tonite and we're in a good position against a team that doesn't know us. Huggins may know the zone, but we still have an advantage against players who will get a crash course in it tomorrow .
You're right, it isn't if the coach knows it, it matters more if the players are familiar with it. They've got 1 day to prepare, not easy for any team.
