Are we playing West Virginia or west Virgina?
I feel smartWe’ll probably be 3 point dogs again
Plus, their 3 point specialist had shooting mechanics that were... interesting.Last year they had a 1 seed locked up and that was my only concern tonight it was the same caliber of team.
It was clear early we didn't walk into a buzz saw. Their 5-8 guy who I was worried about wasn't that good nor could the 3 point specialist do anything else. Mitchell nullified Quincy but wasn't a force or anything.
It was a great performance by us. I don't think we did that to a great team. Not sure why I am getting attacked this isn't the game thread its discussing WVU who will be a step up in weight class.
These West Virginia guards are bulls. They're all built like NFL linebackers.McBride would probably be the best guard in the ACC...from what i have seen vs morehead
a real point gaurd who can do everything...3s, drives, assists, tight d...
its mcbride and culver from what I see...formidable duo.
Yeah, well, we've got a guard built like an offensive lineman, so...These West Virginia guards are bulls. They're all built like NFL linebackers.
OMG. Now I am going to go to bed and have nightmares about that guy.Luckily Kevin Pittsnogle ain’t walking through that door.

Don't have nightmares about him. I'm pretty sure he is a big sweetheart.
Last I read, he was a special education teacher around his hometown in the hills of West Virginia. He's got a lifetime pass for that in my book! I'll root for a dude like that for as long as he puts in the effort.
I had such a good time watching him (and what was it - Ganser???!) knock off CP3 in the tourney. Great game.
He looks like an aging beatnik/hippie with the long hair and goatee. A leftover from the 60s.Bob Huggins looks like he hasn’t showered in a year.
You're right, it isn't if the coach knows it, it matters more if the players are familiar with it. They've got 1 day to prepare, not easy for any team.My recollection of Huggins' teams is physicality over finesse. Hope Braswell and Jesse give us good minutes again. We'll need them. I think we beat a good SDSU team tonite and we're in a good position against a team that doesn't know us. Huggins may know the zone, but we still have an advantage against players who will get a crash course in it tomorrow .
