Do we discount the prior two seasons or his career percentage? We should go with this season’s percentage alone because... it’s more recent?

Interesting that Buddy is shooting 47% from 2 overall and 53% in ACC play. Looking at the tape it seems his footwork is really off this year on the perimeter. This is an interesting interview from a former walk on.

That is garbage IMO.
Before last year defense mattered more than offense.
BJ Johnson could shoot. He didn’t get the minutes to be an offensive weapon off the bench his Sophomore year because “defense”.

It’s the disingenuous analysis that is annoying. There’s no reason to justify the backcourt rotation.

last season being over is irrelevant. Shooters don’t forget how to shoot. The book on Buddy was out at the end of his Freshman year. He is taking too many shots. “Way too many” is up for debate. He’s shooting 2 times more per game than last season and his volume last season was fine.

Why would fans boo Buddy and Girard? Even if you believe they are two worst players in the conference, as many here clearly do, it isn’t their decision how many minutes they play.

I would boo Buddy for his lack of effort in transition defense! Boooooooooooooo, run!!! RUN!!!!!
