What coach does that? Not that we would have drawn up an actual last play, but still. And he had multiple chances to challenge calls that would have went our way and did not.

There were for sure a couple plays he needed to challenge. I’m not very familiar with the college challenge system though
I actually thought the game being reffed by only two refs was one of the best called games of the year. It's amazing how with the standard three refs how many calls are anticipation calls, just blatantly missed, or the refs just swallow the whistle.

The two guys, both many years older than the players, did a real good job staying in position (for the most part). Will the system ever be perfect. Absolutely not. Unfortunately.

Eh, there were some out of bounds calls and off the top of my head, the third on WK. Not a clue how we didn’t challenge that one. Win or lose the challenge, too important.

I thought they did a nice job too. Especially when you consider they were one down on the "tuck your shirt in" patrol.
First rule change I'd make. You get one tuck your shirt in, after that it's a foul.

With all the clutching and grabbing that some teams get away with, that shouldn't even be a rule.

Win your first challenge and you get another. Lose it and you lose it.
But what can and can’t be challenged? I know how the NBAs works. Is this pretty much the same? Almost nothing is worth challenging in the first half even if you win it . But we had some real late stuff go down that were worth the risk

For Men's College Basketball (NCAAM):
  • What can be challenged:
  • How it works:
    • One challenge per game; must have a timeout.
    • Successful challenge earns a second challenge; unsuccessful loses the challenge and timeout.
