This song to me perfectly creates the atmosphere of a peaceful summer night, driving with the moon roof open. Today is not that(there’s snow out there and there’s nowhere to be driving to or from come nighttime) so this is pure escapism for me right now. Remember so vividly playing this on a drive to the airport where I was early and had extra time - stopping at Starbucks, 5 AM, still dark, nobody else up and out yet so it was so peaceful. I miss when we could fly to other places.

Aw man, he was just on a video here the other day.

Little Richard, Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis... they were nightmares for many parents in the late 50s, but somehow my father was okay with my older sisters listening to them, and so later I got introduced to that music as a result. I think Little Richard may have been the most threatening of them all, with his look and style. He will be missed.
