If only we had the Hoosiers years ago, there would have been no need for Marines at Belleau Wood, Tarawa, Iwo Jima, or Guadalcanal.

As the miniseries The Pacific taught me, there was a Marine nicknamed Hoosier who fought at Guadalcanal. So, ya know, that explains that.
