Outside of Harrison, no one else on Ohio St on offense was great. Alford, Brown, Allen, Gadsden, and Villari are as good, not including the incoming players.
The key is a productive OL.

Fans just don't know. Ohio st wouldn't have offered a ship to any of our guys. When Carter and Duce don't start for those kind of teams, it should give a hint.

Day liked his young QBs enough to not give McCord assurances and he's also previously said they don't need to look at the portal for QBs.

The fact the Day has now all but said they might look for a portal QB shows what a mistake he made and how good McCord is. McCord knew the system, there is no way they're going to upgrade from the portal.

This may be one of the final nails in his coffin. A loss to Michigan next November and Ryan Days house will be up for sale.

Buckeye fans feel he messed up another QB decision which will come back and haunt them.

As for us I love it and thankful the FRANchise was able to land a solid and experienced starting QB like Kyle McCord

He made Hartline the OC but basically stayed the OC.

Day can maybe get away with blaming Kyle this year, but one more year of losing to Mich and not having a scapegoat, got to think he’s on the hot seat as crazy as that sounds.

McCord threw for more yards than any QB did against Michigan this year They were by far the best defense in football. He can be great here next year.
