At that time, teams played 13 non-con games. So the correct record is 28-2, not 20-2. It is a typo.

So we were #1 even if we subtract 8 wins from the resume, so that's like #0! That's how dominate we were. Today, the team bus driver to Greensboro ACCT is asking if he can start his summer vacation on ACCT week since we probably don't need him.

I'm pretty sure with how out of hand this NIL chit is nowadays, I imagine this is the sentiment shared repeatedly day in and day up down our current roster. I can only imagine what many/most of our past players, you know, the ones that were actually good (at least high D1 level good) must be thinking.

If I were any of them, I'd be saying, dang, based on how good we all were vs. these dudes, we would've deserved at least that same amount they're getting today 15-20 plus years ago. And, if we were playing today...well...fagetaboutit!
