I just don’t watch it. That way the next morning I’m suprised and get to read 500 postgame reactions

It's not much but they could easily go 6:30/8:30 for these games. The half hour is not a ton but appears slightly better.
To me from a psychology factor 8:30 stinks but is palatable enough.I know it's all tv related but I really think 9PM local time starts are just such a slap in the face to the people going to the games.
I believe FS1 does that for some big east games? Very doable.
That’s absurd that they put BC-Pitt at 7pm and SU-Virginia Tech at 9pm. Our matchup is by far the better game. This has got to stop. One 9pm game a season is one too many.Normally I would say that it’s due to our irrelevance and there being a better 7pm option for the ACCN but in this case BC is involved in both 7pm games (Clemson then Pitt), so I don’t know.
Nobody wants to watch a BC game. The SU/VT game should be the 7pm game over BC/Pitt, that’s for sure.
These start times stink, especially since they are home games but what can you do.
When I used to go to all the games in the heyday of the Big East in the 80s and 90s, didn’t the weeknight games used to start at 8pm? Or was it 7pm and my memory is faulty? Was a 40 year season ticket holder - feel your pain.![]()
Yes, in the early 80’s for Big Monday and the Big East, lots of games were at 8pm. In the middle 80’s for some reason some were at 8:30 pm but by the late 80’s most were all at 7pm. Have no idea why the start times were changing. I was playing city rec ball at the time and I hated having to miss Big Monday SU games because of scheduling conflicts with our Monday rec games. One year we did get the city to change the rec games to Thursday because of Big Monday. When I used to go to all the games in the heyday of the Big East in the 80s and 90s, didn’t the weeknight games used to start at 8pm? Yeah, I remember that. And weren't the later games often the marquee/premier games? That's what I recall, but it's been a while.Yes, in the early 80’s for Big Monday and the Big East, lots of games were at 8pm. The fans on twitter.Another 9 pm game? Who decides the time?
Yeah, me too. But at least I don’t have to go to work. Mwah ha ha ha!9:00 games that were as entertaining as this one result in 3 hours of sleep for me. But to win is a good trade off.
The ACC. I said earlier that I wrote to Pete Sala who then referred me to another big wig who wrote and told me it was all the ACC’s fault.Another 9 pm game? Who decides the time?
