funny thing is Joel Sherman had a big article in the Post yesterday talking about the Yankees $$ restraints and how they weren't looking for arms at 3mill, then about 4 I got the text of the signing...and today he has a big article about it again. sort of a...well wouldncha know...

It was a deception operation by Cashman. He gave 5 different rumors to 5 different employees who he suspected of being leakers and waited to see which one turned up in the papers. Then, boom! "Box up your desk you disloyal person you!!!!"
