I knew Cora wouldn’t sit Price and would start him at home.

I’ve said all year he’s 1 of the most overrated players in baseball.
One, the Red Sox aren't going to resign him. But he has been big for a Sox team for the last 3 years.

Having watched my beloved SU football Orangemen contend for the bottom 10 more than anything else for the better part of two decades, I can assure you that the ability to contend has no bearing on whether I watch.
If we are 4-7 going into BC and the Giants are 1-14 on December 30th, I will still watch those games.
Nice photo shop there. Just watching a replay on MLB Network and they zeroed in on CK a few times while he was in the stretch. There was nothing on his hand.

I hate Price starting game 2 because Cora has to give off the image they haven’t given up on Price.
Price in game 2 even if the Astros aren’t the Yankees is a pure gamble.
Holt is likely playing 2b against Verlander.
Mookie is the guy who needs to get it going this series.
Swihart is more likely to play 1b than Moreland even though I would hope Mitch can play as he hit well down in Houston this year.

Just got my tickets for Sunday night. Wish I wasn’t busy Saturday but hopefully Price can limit the damage and keep us in it. Houston is a buzzsaw right now.
Everyone is so down on Price that he'll probably throw a good game.
What do you think it would have looked like if the Sox played the Indians and the Astros played the Yanks?

That’s a really good question. I think Houston would’ve swept the Yankees because they wouldn’t have had a David Price start and a similar result for the Red Sox beating Cleveland in 4. Cleveland has excellent pitching but their offense is worse than the Yankees.
prettty even game.. Astros got more marginal strike calls that led to guys on base, but both teams didnt hit.. the Nunez makes the plays at 3rd the sox are up 2-0 into the 8th. Sales needed to be Sales, but if Betts is gonna not hit the Sox are in trouble.
He faced Bauer/Kluber/Clevinger/Verlander/Kuechel/McCullers/Morton/Happ/Tanaka/Severino/Sabathia/Verlander.
These are good pitchers. No bums except maybe a washed up Sabathia.
The guy needs to produce more but he is averaging 1 hit per game in the playoffs. He has 11 hits in 12 games no HRs.
He needs to produce no doubt but he isn’t King like ARod was.
