Astros in 5.

Boston's longest losing streak all year was three games. And even that only happened a a few times. They've had a remarkable ability to bounce back from a loss all year long. Gonna be tough for Houston to beat them three in a row.

Sox offense will be good enough IMO to win atleast 1 game in Houston.
I just don’t think they can win games 6 and 7 at home.
To have a chance to win this series they need 2 of 3 in Houston which I don’t see.

There was palpable nervous energy in Fenway last night and it was especially evident after Gonzalez went deep. It seems counterintuitive but there’s a chance going on the road isn’t the worst thing. They went into Yankee Stadium and took two and Houston’s home field advantage isn’t more intimidating than that. None of it matters if the middle of the lineup doesn’t get going though.

I feel like Mookie is just about to break through. I'm not as confident about JD.

Dallas has a over 9 era against the Sox in his career. Boston wins game 3, and all the pressure in the world is on Houston in game 4 and 5. Houston has a terrific team. but the difference between the two teams is not as big as some would try to make it. And that is because of what happened last year. Not what has happened this year. This series kind of reminds me of the tigers series back in '13

Red Sox platoon are playing defense at 3rd like Kimbrel is closing.
It is shaky and scary every time.

Boom. JBJ.
Boston is pretty familiar with Ozuna as he pitched for the Jays.
He has Kimbrel like stuff. Either dominates or is a cardiac pitcher.
Sox just now need split one of the last 2 in Houston.
I feel they would be able to win 1 of 2 at home to close it out.

JBJ! Couldn’t have happened off a better guy. Houston has an incredible roster full of quality players and Osuna is a piece of garbage. Let’s go!!!

Houston is going to win this series? "Premature anything is never good".

Not saying we're a lock to win this thing, but negating that Houston win at Fenway is helpful.

Eovaldi had a great start with the Sox, and i was hoping we'd re-sign him, then there was a period where i regretted saying that. Now, i absolutely would want him back next year+.
