Kahnle, Hicks, Warren, Betances agree to deals
NEW YORK -- As the Yankees continue to focus upon keeping payroll beneath the $197 million threshold this coming season, they have reached agreements to avoid arbitration with four of their eight eligible players: right-hander
Dellin Betances, outfielder
Aaron Hicks, righty
Tommy Kahnle and right-hander
Adam Warren.
Hicks agreed to a one-year, $2.825 million contract, and Kahnle accepted a one-year, $1.3125 million pact on Thursday. Betances accepted a $5.1 million deal and Warren accepted a $3.325 million deal on Friday, sources have confirmed to MLB.com. The Yankees have not announced any of the signings.
