2018 Yankees Thread...

Boone still hasn't learned with Betances. Dellin is the mogwai of this team. Follow three simple rules and he's fine. 1. Can't close, 2. Can't enter game with runners on base, 3. Can't pitch two innings. Follow those and it's cream cheese. You break one and he turns into a gremlin on the mound.

Gremlins and Teen Wolf references in one short post. Impressively woven.

Keith Olbermann on Twitter is going after the Yankees facial hair policy.

Just in case anyone misses out on the best part of tonight’s game.

"Jacoby Ellsbury (60 Day DL)"

The time he would have actually been useful, he's on the DL. Again. And at $21M per.* Where he will be for the next three years, when he's 35, 36 and 37 yrs old. SMFH.

* Jacoby Ellsbury

Can you imagine if that salary slot was used on players that actually contribute?

Robinson still there

I like that the kid tries, but honestly, he, Higashioka and Gardner are a hole in the B/O every third inning. You can't win many ball games giving up 9 free outs. And I especially like Gardy, too, but he's something like below .200 since July, and combined with the other two it's just a killer. That said, I think both he and Bird are getting pitched around because the two resident thumpers (and now Didi) are MIA.

Didi Gregorius more likely to be ready by Seattle series next weekend,

Geez, I'm glad Betances bounced back, and I'm really pleased Boone gave him that spot.

And now it's Miller Time. :)
