The Nats look like the Yankees tonight with all these runners they’re getting on with not much to show for it.

12 LOB tonight.

3-2 Nats.
C'mon, give us a game 7!

Someone tell Al Riverion to get this game moving. Cmon this delay is insane. It's obvious Eaton should get first base. Move it along. Just make a call.

Woo Hoo!

Strasburg still dealing ... :)

edit: It would be stellar if he went nine and closed it out himself.

wait so we are complaining because the umps made the correct call?
That wasn't the correct call. The Houston pitcher threw a bad throw to first base. Turner didn't do anything wrong. The umpire called him for interfering with the first baseman when he didn't do anything to interfere. He was running in the baseline.

That call was terrible. If the pitcher threw a good throw the ball could have picked. It wasn't Turner's fault at all.

"We?" I only see one guy doing that.

Anyway, Cedarstrom and Barksdale were God-awful in the last two games. With that in mind, even if the call is tough on Washington, Martinez made the right move to get tossed. Someone has to do something draw attention to the erratic umpiring because it's forking up the games. And more importantly, it should pump his guys up.

Umm.. what part of the rule do not think was not applied ? the part where he at no ppoint ever ran legally to the bag? he was never in the baseline for one single step?

by your logic had he run to the pitchers mound and then the last step the glove/ball hit him as he touched the bad its ok?

Did you even watch the replay?

Turner was completely fine within the baseline.

This would be a good time for you to just shut it. All that video means is both you and whoever Ben Porter is are both wrong. And I'm pulling for Washington.

You literally like the only person other than upperdeck defending the call. Which is funny but again it's you.

Keith Olbermann and the rest of the country see it the other way.
