Options are drying up. Syndegaard was a pipe dream and Klueber/Bauer was a moon shot. Surprised they didn't go after Kuechel, but Happ is durable and pitched extremely well except when it counted most.

Rick Porcello won a Cy Young and I don’t consider him elite.
Happ isn’t as good as Porcello.
Porcello is a number 2-3 starter. That is what Happ is.

It is a fact though. Happ was solid in the regular season but as everyone said to the Red Sox your regular season wins mean nothing it will all come down to October.
Happ’s first inning in game 1 gave the Sox the momentum so they didn’t get tight.

Severino number 2, Paxton number 3, Happ number 4 and Sabathia number 5.
