Guess we’ve given up on this year. Needed a front line starter in the worst way. This crew isn’t winning playoff games.

I predict they will bash their way to title #28, led by WS MVP Gary Sanchez.

The package for Bauer wasn’t a lot. He was a guy who has top of the rotation stuff.
I wouldn’t want Grineke he has anxiety issues. In a big market that could affect him.


Yankees needed a starter though.
Tanaka/Happ/German/Paxton as your playoff rotation could use an improvement.

That's why Greinke has the Yankees as #1 on his no trade clause list. Not even an option. Hates talking to the media.

Bauer's price may have been driven up by the recent Yankee starting performances. They pitched WAY below their ceiling at the wrong time.

Bauer's a bit of a headcase too. Not sure if they weighed the clubhouse factor with him.

He feels a lot like Wettland. He seems to find away out of it most of the time but its absolutely draining to have to go through this seemingly every game he comes into the last month or so. Its impossible to trust this guy with a 1 run lead in the ninth because he literally walks the lead off guy every single freekin time.

He’s known MadBum was never coming here for a while. He’s been saying they screwed for a while, though Bauer was a possibility though.

I think he was spot on, which was easy.

Astros got better, Yanks didn’t get worse, but their odds went down.

He doesn’t have command of, and therefore doesn’t trust both of his pitches. When the opposition realizes it, he becomes hittable. He can’t just rely on his fastball like he was.
