I heard from a Dome worker that they are doing an orientation so at least the door is still open to fans this season. At least it seems they are preparing for the possibility.
The rules are a joke. Walmart is ok. Mass demonstrations fine, Bars no problem, Wegmans you bet, flights of course, dorms what the heck. But there is no way we can allow a few people socially distanced following strict guidelines to go to a sports event.
what is the benefit of taking part in this? Someone has to make them, someone has to manage the sales of them, and someone like SU has to play someone to place them around the stadium. And for what? Literally no one will ever see them, including you.
Not a joke, for the same reasons that church choirs became super-spreader events. The rules are a joke. Walmart is ok. I heard that Dome ops is recording footsteps to play at the end of the first quarter and after the first offensive series of the 4th quarter to simulate the arrival of the student section and the departure of 75% of the crowd. If you can’t have fans will they allow piped in crowd noise?
