I know a lot of Yankee fans, including a lot of close relatives. Some of them are diehards, not just casual fans. They are all ok with the season being sacrificed if it means keeping everyone safe and healthy. They also don’t need to brag about how great their team is to make them feel better about themselves. Try being humble for a change and maybe you won’t see these types of posts anymore.

ive been to over 25 youth games and been to the home depot, grocery store, pool supply store and countless restaurants...i have not been infected because i am not going to strip clubs and casinos.

IF the Phillies stay COVID free as they have so far, and it's proven (might already be) that the Marlins/Cardinals were infected because of their own irresponsibility, then just ban those two teams, and get on with the season.

Don't punish the rest of the baseball world (players/coaches/fans) from the inevitable Yankees - Dodgers World Series because a few idiots couldn't follow some simple rules.

I've lived my life pretty normally for awhile now. Other than the mask I wear, but it's something easy to get used to. I also don't have to go to the office or send my kids to summer camps, which is wonderful, saves me $$$.

I'm sure this all still makes me a grandma killer.

I was infected and I only went to the grocery store. To be fair, it was before we all started wearing masks. I agree with your sentiment though. If I were getting paid millions, I absolutely would be staying in. I do that now without getting a baseball player’s salary.

Question is if you ban those teams, do their opponents get a forfeit win or are the games just wiped from the schedule and you go by win percentage? If one team plays 50 games and finishes two games back of a team that played 60, that’s going to be a real headache for MLB. Not sure there’s an answer that will satisfy all parties involved.
