In addition to Kimber Hower and the Sweitzer twins, it looks like we have acquired Tessa Queri from Harvard and Sam McKenna from UConn via the transfer portal; both CBA products with one year of eligibility left. With how many returning players we have on the offensive side coming back, plus the talented ‘22 class— not sure how much playing time they will get.
It is good to see that some of the better players we have had from section 3 are coming back home to play for their hometown team though. As shown last year with Emily Ehle, it is possible for them to work their way into the lineup, especially with already having D1 experience.
P.S. — Really wish these players that are entering their names in the transfer portal and being picked up by teams were documented like they are on the men’s side. It is like pulling teeth trying to find this information out on the women’s side.
Between Emily, Carney, Tyrell’s, Cooper, Sam Swart and Emma, we must have at least 3 of the top 15 players in the country. With some solid goaltending and DC’s we will be a very tough out.
