Teams are using voidable contract extensions to kick salaries down the can when the cap explodes
Up after these new TV deals.

So Cris Collinsworth‘s seat has to be pretty warm right now.

A little over 2 hours until the legal tampering period begins. Always enjoy deals being reported 5 mins after it starts.

Okwara back to the Lions 3/39. They are now paying $30m/year for Trey Flowers and Okwara to form an average DE tandem.

Jonuu Smith getting PAID by the Pats

Love it.
He is a perfect fit. I wanted him over Henry he can block.

They had cap space and used it well.
They got the Dolphins NT as well.

Love it. Hoping to see something at WR next...
Curtis Samuel or if they want to
Spend crazy Kenny Golloday.

Pats have enough space to add more.

The Cannon trade gave them another 6.75 Million in cap space and moved them up in the 4th-6th rounds.

The Cannon trade basically paid for the Cam deal.

That dude is a nobody but did seem to break the Jonuu signing. He also mentions possibility of a Kareem Hunt trade to Buffalo or Miami.

Yes, I questioned the source too. I posted because his posts "seemed legit". Probably not the best reasoning, lol.

Smith, Judon, Godchaux just add a legit WR and draft a QB.

AFC East will be legit next year.

Even if they draft Mac Jones and sign Golladay I have 0 fear of them. That's just a mid-level blah team.

They won 7 games with no QB and a below average offense and a lot blah defense outside of their secondary.

Give Belichick some talent he will scheme wins.
Buffalo has a nice core but they don’t scare me either. The NFL is year to year.
The Patriots didn’t scare you last year because they had very little talent.
They needed an injection of talent.

Galloday is likely going to the Giants is what I just heard.

He'll go to whoever gives him 5/$80 with $35m guaranteed.

Spending that cap space.
Now I have no clue what they are doing in the draft.
WR, LB or QB my guess.

I'm pretty interested in what happens with Gilmore. He's obviously not going to play a down on a $7m deal. Imagine the trade market is lukewarm since anyone that deals for him knows they have to pay up and a 31 year old CB coming off of an injury isn't a great place to invest.

He is getting traded.

Teams that he connected to San Fran, Las Vegas, Cleveland and Arizona.

They will get a mid round pick back for him likely.

Goodbye Steph Gilmore.
Thanks for the play in the AFC title game and winning a SB as well.

Wouldn’t shock me if the Pats sign Antonio Brown.
They are signing every Drew Rosenhaus client.

Just add a LB and WR and we are good now for Bill.
Using the cap space while we have it.
