What stops this from happening? Seriously... against the "spirit" of the game but is there truly anything that stops them from intentionally tying? Not sure I have ever seen this situation.

The NE guy didn’t even make contact with his lowered helmet and got called.

At least personal foul penalties .. I mean he jumped Over the dude.. it was also a give up slide .. on 4th.. so it at worst NE should have gotten possession but lost 15 yards .. refs are terrible in this league
