Going to be THAT guy.

It is not the same game. All of the rules favor the offense and the QB. These modern FA era quarterbacks take none of the beatings that guys of previous era's did. So they stay healthier and have more years to stack stats. I am not going to say the record books are a joke but they are fairly meaningless in the big picture.

For me where Brady excelled was between the ears. One of the smartest to ever play the game. He is clearly the best of his generation and one of the greatest of all time but I cannot say he is better than any of the other giants who played the position when it is not an apples to apples comparison.

I'm an old man yelling at the clouds and I absolutely hate comparing cross generationally.

The rules do benefit the offense, but on the flip side the defensive players have never been bigger, faster, stronger than they are now

Looks like the refs are going to let KC interfere on every pass down the field.

I don't have a dog in this fight but turned the game off because the it was very clear early how the refs were calling the game and what the outcome would be.

Doesn't matter if you cannot hit the QB.

Where it does show up (imo) is the running back position and how much shorter their careers have become because of it.

Ironically, the roughing the passer rules didn’t get changed until after Brady got injured and missed all of 08.

I’m sure anyone took as much care of his body as he did which allowed him to play that long. If you didn’t know any difference you would think Roethlisberger was actually the 44 year old QB this year.

Carson Palmer changed roughing the passer.

When the Pittsburgh guy shredded his knee in 2005.

I have misremembered then. It is a good rule though. Nobody wants to watch Brian Hoyer go against Chad Henne. It leads to unwatchable football.

Yeah, whereas I see KC winning handily, big mistake (IMO) to not grab a two TD lead going into halftime.

yeah..I have KC -14.5 on an alt line bet...so I was not amused. But I still think they win easily. They can score whenever they want if the clock doesn’t run out

Well at least the second half is worth watching now. 28-10 would have been a knockout shot.

Yep. I get trying to step on their throat, but how many teams come back from a 2 TD deficit at halftime...

How many hundreds of 'Disrespect' related stories/articles/headlines would there be if the Bengals/Titans winner actually showed up today. Some writers probably already have that written and are now tucking it away in a drawer. "All those so-called experts said last week was the real game...".
Sometimes the narrative is the truth.
Way to blow it McDermott

KC is getting sloppy. The Bengals can win this game if they get a touchdown on this drive.

Oh wow a QB lunge on 4th and 1 worked just like every other time in football history.
