USA Basketball is the stacked AAU team that does nothing but press, run, and play 1-on-1 and loses every other Sunday at 9am because a mediocre team runs a motion offense and a simple press break.

We don’t take it seriously and it makes it unenjoyable to follow

well that was a bizarre ending. Doncic doesn't take the last shot despite having Gobert switched onto him.

Yup. Both teams made mistakes the last minute. Gobert missed two free throws and then next possession throws a great pass outside for a three. Fournier fouled out on the dumb play you mentioned. Slovenia also missed two FT's the last minute, one by a 89% shooter. Doncic with 18 assists and triple double only the 3rd in Olympic history but couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. He's getting crucified on twitter for giving the ball up on the last play, and probably rightfully so but the other guy driving wasn't a bad play.

Doncic hurt his wrist crashing into the scorers table and stopped shooting. Looked like a legit injury. He facilitated and still had them in a position to win which was pretty great.
