Bauer had a great season in 2020 albeit in 12 starts against the weakest divisions NL AND AL Central. Yeah before after being traded to the Reds 2-5 over a 6 ERA. In his previous seasons 1 good season all other seasons over a 4 ERA.

Cole was already the stud. Bauer was a envious clown in College. He should credit Cole for calling him out on his work ethic in college made him a better pitcher.

I grew up throwing a “super pinky” ball off the garage and then fielding it. Could put that thing anywhere I wanted to, in order to get the type of bounce I wanted(fly balls, liners, grounders). I was so dedicated. Where are my white collar $300 million amenities?

BTW, Bauer is to self absorbed with himself. But he should text Cole and say thank u for giving me the criticism I needed in college to get me where I needed to be and make 40 plus million a year. Cole was trying to make Bauer better to make the UCLA Baseball team better.
