Then my prior post stands, as far as being impressed with a woman in late-term pregnancy playing catch. Further, the points about being pregnant and giving birth DON'T apply to the father. That was the point. I expect Gerrit Cole to do what he can to "keep loose" but he can play catch with any of numerous friends or colleagues I suspect. But his wife doesn't have to be one of them, especially in her gravid state, and that's why I'm impressed with her.

Sorry. Sometimes it’s hard not to respond, even though I know it’s likely to no avail.
And to help, I really like the way our team is stacking up. Hopefully some change in off season routines will lead to less injuries. Head to head I like our chances against anybody. But we can’t beat the injury bug AND the Rays, Dodgers, etc.

I think Cashman did a masterful job this offseason. He successfully reached all objectives for building the 2021 team with patience and with complete understanding of what every other team could do. He clearly plays chess while others play Monopoly with their future father-in-law.

My issue is with Hal. Cashman can only spend what Hal allows him to do. I'm warning Hal no excuses next offseason reset the 210 threshold this season then spend big with a big time free agent class next offseason.

To name a few who we could use. C-Salvador Perez, 1b- Freddie Freeman (Trade Voit), SS- Carlos Correa (Move DJ to 1b (Trade Voit), Gleyber to 2B, Gio at 3b) SP- Noah Syndegard (Nice stick it to the Mets is always a plus.

We better spend big next offseason. All I'm saying.

Don't you think the team was reasonably put together the last two years if not for extraordinary bad luck with injuries? The only addition which is (almost) always worth it is a high quality starting pitcher or elite closer.

Agreed. Yankees are in good position to compete for the title annually for the foreseeable future. As a fan, you really can’t ask for anything more.
