One or two of those 80s teams would have made the playoffs under the current format. The Yankees actually won more games than any other team in that decade.

Yikes, I sound like a fair weather fan but this past weekend was tough to watch. I hope they can turn it around soon, this has been some terrible baseball to watch for most of the season so far.

I don't known what happened to the Torres from a few years ago but he looks awful for a second season in a row. Just looks lost out there. Gardner is clearly done and Frazier is lost at the plate even worse then Torres. Team needs a major shake up

I know it’s only one spot ahead, but come the ninth inning down by a run with runner on second I would rather the woman who was bat girl the other day come to the plate instead of Torres.

I’d take Buck, I know he’s up there in age but if I’m Cashman I’m letting Showalter take over and tell him run it his way the rest of the season and let the chips fall where they may.

Kay pointed out in his radio show that Showalter is unlikely because he's not taking direction on lineups or any other directives from the front office. He's gonna run it his way which in the era of analytics might not work.
